Nine people have been taken to the hospital after a demonstration “turned violent” on Saturday morning at Earlscourt Park, near Caledonia Road and St. Clair Avenue West, according to Toronto police.

A third person has been arrested in connection with a kidnapping and assault in Toronto’s Financial Distract last month.
